Animal Rights. This has always been subjected to different opinions and there is always a widespread violation. There are groups dealing with animal rights and promoting animal welfare, yet it is a sad thing that numerous of people remained to be uneducated or rather unaffected. It is their choice, weren’t we once told that ignorance is bliss? They do not feel guilty over the killings and maltreatment of these animals. They continue to enjoy eating the meat of what we all know “man’s bestfriend”. They continue to bet on horse-fighting, bull-fighting, and even dog-fighting.
Can you imagine the absurdity? There is this animal, you cared for it, you make it feel loved, you nourished it, the animal feeling lucky and you having in mind involving this creature into a fight, for you to bet on it, hope to heavens that it wins, so this would earn you m-o-n-e-y. This is outright cruelty. What would you feel?
